Set the mood for this inspirational story with Aretha Franklin's song by clicking this link for a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T for THIS ELITE 8 HOOPSTERS.  It was an ice skating rink out there this AM, but THIS ELITE 8 HOOPSTERS were determined to play, although they were turned back at 8am by closed roads.  But if they didn't at first succeed, they try tried again with an HHI 2-hour delay (no morning kindergarten) and despite still difficult conditions, they persevered & finally made it to our non-denominational church for some 4-on-4 basketball.  

So who were THIS ELITE 8 HOOPSTERS who deserve your R-E-S-P-E-C-T?  Key-Master Iron Mike, Swoop, Mighty Kerr, Radon Rader, D.J. Jazzy, Who Killed Kenny (who evidently found some sneakers this week), Alan "The Question" I-Vath-son, and Diggetty Doug Bails who faced his driving on ice-ice baby fears while his fellow Wyomissing Hills-ers: X-Smoker Bob & Quick Mike stayed at home.  Quick had an excuse--he was painting & Swoop told me it was a "landscape"  so I "purchased" it for your viewing pleasure below:

So you may ask who won the HHI games today?  It doesn't matter because all of THIS ELITE 8 HOOPSTERS are Daily Champions in my book and again--they deserve your R-E-S-P-E-CT.
